Press Release:
RED CARD FILMS UNITES BEREA HIGH CLASS OF 1985

(New York) July 1, 1999 - Cleveland based Red Card Films announced today that principal photography on their first feature film "Grave Matters" (AKA "Master Criminal"), will commence July 10, 1999. Shot on location in Berea, Akron and Cleveland, the independent film represents Red Card's first feature production, and the reunion of several Berea High School class of 1985 graduates.

Red Card Films was started in 1998, by Berea High School Class of '85 graduates Denis J. Underwood, Kevin Hines, and Evan Lloyd, friends with a passion for movies and a desire to create them on their own terms. The script for "Grave Matters," a dramatic comedy, was completed after two years of work in May of this year. The film is executive produced by Red Card, and the script was written by Denis J. Underwood and Evan Lloyd.

Two additional Berea High graduates were tapped by Red Card, Michael T. Capone, and James A. Pearson:

Mr. Pearson, who will direct "Grave Matters", has credits that include films and television work at Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions, John Hughes' Hughes Entertainment, and screenplays for Tim Allen and Whoopi Goldberg. Pearson resides in New York where he runs Sons of Thunder Entertainment, and is a Consultant to Razorfish, Inc. Mr. Pearson is a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton.

"I'm pleased that I'll be in my Cleveland, making a film at the same time," said Pearson. "I have worked on films in America and Japan, but to be on location ten minutes from my high school is a strange and great feeling."

Michael T. Capone will be editing and associate producing "Grave Matters." Capone's credits include Discovery Channel, and Disney. He was also employed by Tim Allen's Boxing Cat Productions as a screenwriter. Mr. Capone is no stranger to working on movies in Cleveland: he served as an Assistant to the Executive Producer on "Double Dragon," which shot on location in Cleveland. Mr. Capone is also a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton.
